
How to fix a flat!
We're holding our next DIY workshop on Saturday February 19th. Come along to learn and practice how to fix a puncture and change an inner tube.
Bring along your bike and if you have them tyre levers, pump, spare inner tube or inner tube with a puncture that needs patching. Don't worry if you don't have all these items as we can also provide them.
We even have a few give-aways to keep those tyres inflated!
There is no fee for the session. Hot drinks and snacks will be provided but please also feel free to contribute.

Build up your confidence
Cycling in London can be scary and intimidating and you might want some help building up your basic cycle skills and confidence. We hope to bring back our four-week course in the spring with just that in mind. Whether you haven't cycled since you were a kid or feel like your basic cycle skills could use some work this course will help you to Get Out Cycling with confidence!

We will be offering a number of free places on our courses in line with our mission to break down barriers and make sure cycling is an activity for everyone. Course Structure
Courses will be adapted to the levels and needs of participants but will follow the rough structure below:
Session 1: Meet your instructor, how to check if your clothes, helmet and bike are suitable for your journey, basic bike handling skills, no cycling with traffic
Session 2: Recap of session 1, how to start and finish an on-road journey, how to turn left and right on different types of road, cycling on quiet roads
Session 3: Recap of session 2, U turns and more turns! Cycling on slightly more busy roads, discussion on route planning for the last session
Session 4: Recap of session 3, follow a planned route with confidence

Bikes
You will need a bike in order to take part in the course. If you do not have your own bike we may be able to provide you with a bike for the course, or give you some advice and support with hiring or buying a bike.
