Elisabetta
Hello, I'm Elisabetta. I have been cycling since I was 4 years old but I stopped for a few years when I got a driving licence at 18. I moved to London and initially I was cycling to save money on public transport. I then took up cycling as a sport after I broke up with my abusive ex-boyfriend. I was severely depressed and anxious at the time and cycling was the thing that helped me the most.
Now I work as a cycling coach and cycling instructor. I commute on my bike every day, I race and I am always willing to try new things involving bicycles!
Cycling makes me feel free, empties my mind and makes me feel like I can believe in myself and work on myself every single day. I really want to be able to share this with other people and make them realise that cycling can have a special meaning for each one of them.
